Guest Guest Posted October 27, 2009 You are touching on the work of Robert Jetson and Ana Mendieta in this series. Ever see Harvey Fite's site sculpture? Link to comment
mauroni 0 Posted October 29, 2009 Actually it seems that you are "plagiarizing" the work of Tomas Brucker (http://photo.net/photodb/photo.tcl?photo_id=9864018). To me it's a bit unfair... Mauro Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted October 29, 2009 yes this does seem to me to be nearly identical to this image of mr.ruckers http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=9864018 but that being said, i do not know who took what image first, and either way, it is a beautiful photo and well done. i think this theme of interplay between bodies and nature in an arranged way cannot be attributed to belonging to any one photographer..the designing of the elements of nature has been a long-standing theme in andy goldworth's work, to cite one example amongst many. i will try a similiar thing somewhere in the future of my own work as well im sure, as it is beautiful to me and appeals to my aesthetic sensibilites. though i agree that it can be difficult to cess out the boundaries of plagiarism, the truth is that it has all been done before, there isnt much original in the entire world...art or otherwise :) Link to comment
