Thasos island, Greece..........

I captured this photo in a ferryboat, while crossing the passage from

the city of Kavala, in northern Greece, to Thasos, the beautiful

island of Aegean Sea..........

This photo has been awarded by the National Geographic Magazine of my

country with the first prize in the ‘nature’ category, and the second

prize in overall categories, for the year 2009.
