Snow and sun collided in NH's Pinkham Notch near NH highest peak, Mount Washington. These trees were simultaneously backlit by weak sun while snow squalls passed through the notch, creating everchanging patterns of color. While difficult to appreciate with a web image, the amount of detail that the camera was able to capture blew me away. Slight cropping of the original.

Thanks Mark & Hans - This autumn in the mnts was characterized by a lot of rain, it seemed. I was fortunate to find some great light for this type of subject. the intimate shots were by far the choice of this fall season-very few of the sweeping vista shots under great light I was hoping for, but it was good in that it opened up other possibilities. As you know, being flexible is almost as important as the equipment and technical stuff.

Thanks for the view. Harry
