Mmmmm.... It's really a beautiful image. So simple, but as you alluded in your title, it has all it really needs to convey the beauty of the flower. Just those couple of petal tips make the difference. Thanks for sharing with us...

To me, what you have done here shows the beauty of the flower much more than a 'straight' shot. It also imparts a feeling of mystery, at least that's how it affects me. This is my kind of photography, but I have found that many people don't like images such as this - they want everything tack sharp and very straight foreward.
