The lens distortion makes me feel like I'm riding a wave. The long shadows seem to be pointing back at me. The footprints in the sand imply what's not actually seen in the stillness of the shot.

Interesting point of camera , with the "backdrop" of sand ,full with activities signs vs. the silent kayaks resting in the hot sun with their long shadows... And no people around... The diagonal of their form on the sand and back side are like arrows directing the eye to the far BG. where the people are probably resting as well.. ;-))
