bronx 0 Posted October 21, 2009 I do love dogs therefore heavily biased but I like it a lot. Nice group portrait. Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted October 21, 2009 David... If your four-footed family ever discovers how well they model and how great they look; all four of them will be holding out for a contract review for more Science Diet or something... excellent... Mike Link to comment
pfranklin 0 Posted October 21, 2009 Rain and Rose pose for you again! Your dogs are so beautiful and healthy looking, I think they are turning into real camera hams! All the best, Pamela Link to comment
David-Wisse 5 Posted October 21, 2009 Thanks much Yazeed, David, Ruud, Mike, & Pam. Mike and Pam - they get a pound of cheap steak each for Christmas and on their birthdays - course they're always begging for more. Let's hope they don't hire an agent or join the union :). pietje 0 Posted October 22, 2009 Just wonderful; I visited your great portfolio. You are kind of specialised in dog photography and do great work. Still this one is for me certainly one of the best. The eyes are spectacular, but stil natural The hair structure and colors perfect, with much detail, and not a single sign of oversharpening; Very strong is the use of the background where you have found the perfect balance between visibility and blur. You should ask people to look at the large version who renders it even more impressive. Great work, bravo! Piet Link to comment
David-Wisse 5 Posted October 22, 2009 I am so pleased that all of you took time to view this shot, and comment so favorably. As most of you know, it is very difficult working with dogs, and in my experience rare to have the variables align the way one envisions. Your kind words help justify the effort! Best wishes, David Link to comment

steffenschulz 0 Posted October 22, 2009 Don't know which looks better the shot or the dogs. All three are beautiful. Dogs never really pose. How many shots did this take? Link to comment

David-Wisse 5 Posted October 22, 2009 Thanks so much Sadegh, Steffen, & Patsy. Steffen - It took about a dozen takes, working fairly fast since dogs lose interest quickly. Only 2 or perhaps 3 were acceptable. David Link to comment
