Forgotten Place

I shot this portion of beach that is only accessible during super low

tides...making this a very secluded place. Comments?

Nice tonal range.

The contrast between the rocks and the smooth elements is also beautiful.

I am not yet sure, however, about the necessity of long exposure for this.

I wonder if a more natural looking sea would fit even better.

I have to agree that you did an excellent job with the contrasts when you converted this to B&W. Very nice shot.

I like the photo! It has something from an other planet!

Perhaps the rock on the left I would brighten.

Great shot Rick, I like the long exposure wave action and it's great that you can see cascade head in the background (seems like its always obscured by clouds when I shoot here). This is one of my favorite spots to shoot at over at the coast, especially at this time of year when the super low tides are in the evening.
