I like the facial expression, this is an expression as if this is just a picture like any other. While it is a bit unconventional. If you would crop out only the head, nobody would expect the lower part. This is in my opinion one of the strong points of this picture. By the way i like the phrase on the folder title, (as seen through the eyes of a tourist), it made me smile

Thanks Ben. I was talking to her, and her husband.  They were very open and comfortable and it didn't seem like anything was going on just enjoying the day and happened to be knotted up.

To be naturally comfortable with one's body is not a state everyone reaches or perhaps aspire to reach. I think your picture captures that level of comfort and confidence rather well.

Thanks for that Starvy and indeed that is what was the attraction for selecting this picture to post.

I like this this picture, and second Ben Huybrechts’ comment. I also appreciate this folder and the unexpected humanity to be found within. It shows with every frame, all actors in the street stage playing as if naughty and ultimately innocent children celebrating themselves, and one another, in full recognition of the strange world we all share. I love Frisco and its tolerance for the burlesque and marginal. I know it’s a city that scares much of America but whenever I visited I felt absolutely at home there. I’ll have to return sometime.

My niece is heavily pierced and tattooed over 75% of her body, but I could not see her being photographed like this lady, who is obviously comfortable in her own skin. Major kudos!
