Very nice, Laurence! I like the glance on a dish to feel the texture.

Very interesting! It seems you intentionally tried to avoid/minimize shadows so that whole thing looks more like 2-dimensional and therefore focusing on color and shape - graphical effect. And texture? Actually, only thing that shows that top of the pear is higher than bottom is a difference (contrast) of sharpness of stem with blurryness of cloth behind it. Still you put 3D type mat border around. Hm-m-m. I'm still wondering if lighting, that will make pear more 3D (more shadows or whatever makes object look like 3D :) , will make this more unusual - and therefore more interesting? Good work.
