carsten_ranke 0 Posted October 24, 2009 Phenomenal scene, spectacular light. The clouds shapes and lines and your choice of low horizon are just perfect. I guess it was a jpeg, there are some color artifacts I would remove with a bit PS magic. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted October 24, 2009 The drama was in the sky that day. Minimizing the foreground and using a 17mm did the expected number on the sky area where all that fine stuff was happening. Good of you to take the time to comment. I can always count on a constructive critique from you. Perhaps, one day, I'll get ahead of the curve and purify my offerings BEFORE I post them. You are keeping me honest. Don't stop. :-) I do appreciate your suggestion and will implement it when printing. Many thanks. Best, LM. Link to comment
ryourth 0 Posted October 24, 2009 Very nice image Len.with an impressive sky..Like how the clouds seem to form a protective shield around the sun & the reflections on the water draw your eyes to the islands.. Best Regards-Ross Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted October 24, 2009 The continually darkening skies that day promised some drama and didn't disappoint. The storm bypassed the tour boat I was on but lightning & rain sheets could be seen to the north and west of us. I took a number of photos of course as the clouds multiplied but this is one of my favourites. Thanks for taking the time. Best, LM. Link to comment
