Excellent capture Roman! Superb timing, and fast shutterspeed made this one work. I'd agree with the hard highlights comment made earlier. Well done.
All the best,
Nice Really nice capture. It looks like the light is a little harsh on his face & neck, an easy correction in PS.
Perfect timing Roman! I have seen many similar shots in the past but every one of them is (the same time) quite different and unique. Well done, excellent effort
Very Nice, I like the picture a lot.

DRAW! Have a cigar, gunslinger. That is one terrific shot. I don't agree with the comments about harsh light. It's not like Yogi and Jaws were going to stop and let you run a light meter over the scene before you shot. This shows masterful anticipation and a great eye. The high contrast makes the salmon a perfect form; then there's the yellow teeth, the tongue pulled back; the bear's unconcerned, matter-of-fact eyes ... even the shape of pieces of the rushing water ... The subject matter and composition makes everything else secondary. I'd hang this one on my walk really big. h
superb! totally great capture!
Congratulation Roman Terrise, on making the Nature Photography 2009 Editors' Picks. Best regards, Linh Dinh.
Excellent moment. Regards.
