someoneelse 1 Posted October 13, 2009 This is my husband 'flying' with the seagulls, I made this picture last week on our holiday in Portugal, I love to hear your thoughts about this one, thanks in advance, Els Link to comment
maurocarli 0 Posted October 13, 2009 Cool! I like the composition a lot: it's very appropriate for the particular sense of freedom I think you want to communicate. I think I understand it well because in my life I look for it whenever I can and the dress your husband is wearing is my favourite one: a bandana and nothing else! I would be very curious to see how this photo would appear in colour. Regards! Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted October 13, 2009 It was so amazing this experience, walking on the beach Mauro Carli, walking between 1 km of seagulls, and as soon we came the seagulls fly up amd land behind us, and to be completely naked for a 20 km walk, is a GREAT feeling of freedom and I am glad we share the same thing And here the original without any adjustments and crop kind regards Els Link to comment
pimderuijter 0 Posted October 13, 2009 Leuk zoals altijd, en origineel natuurlijk! Je kunt hierbij weer een mooi staaltje filosofie bedenken. Nog snel wat groetjes vanuit Nijmegen! Pim Link to comment

someoneelse 1 Posted October 15, 2009 Linda, thank you so much for your complements Mauro Carli, you are so very welcome, I am happy you do like the cropped and B&W version Link to comment
mike_stemberg 40 Posted October 16, 2009 I think this is one those images that does not need a title at all. It has a story, a scenario and tells it well! Looking at the original I like your B&W conversion too. Great holiday shot! PS. And since you allowed us to view the original, I just wondered if a slightly wider crop that showed us a bit more of beach at the bottom of the frame and just a bit less of sky above would have worked even better. Just a thought Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted October 18, 2009 Thank you so much Mike for your thought, it is much appreciated Link to comment
