Great idea. The coloured subject stands out against the B&W backgroud. Using a wider aperture would throw the background a little out of focus to eleminate some distractions. Congrats.

The right decision about color. Apart from being an eye catcher, it also juxtaposes the man's loneliness with the joyous red. I agree with Raymond about the critique - would have been better with a more blurred bg. But in case of street scenes, not everything can be controlled, and this is a good result. Best wishes.
