most unusual bird photo I've ever taken!

the spot meter blew out the intense background's sunlight on the water

as expected, but the resulting crystal clear water shadow just blew me

away... I couldn't have dreamt up or planned this shot in a million

years...

It's beautiful! I would sure be happy with it, too!

indeed a special pic. like you say, the clarity of of the legs and stones is fascinating-- as is the tension of the beak just a quarter inch from disturbing the surface of the water.

The composition is good and the reflex showed as well.
