jeffl7 0 Posted October 11, 2009 Somewhere between a photo and a charcoal drawing, this works exceptionally well with your handling. Link to comment

David-Wisse 5 Posted October 12, 2009 Thanks for your visits & comments Jeff and Trisha. Jeff - Yes I was going for a musty and moldy look - and the treatment seemed appropriate. Link to comment
photo by patsy dunn 1 Posted October 12, 2009 David, I really like what you have done with this photo. It almost reminds me of a sketch. Great job. Regards, Patsy Link to comment
andretorres 0 Posted October 13, 2009 Quite effective! Seems to lack a bit of texture in the left window though. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted October 13, 2009 I do like the character of the image but would love to see the untouched version. Link to comment
David-Wisse 5 Posted October 13, 2009 Andre - yes there is detail in the left window that can be recovered - see above. David - thanks. The original was color of course, and quite muddy. This is the b&w conversion with some levels and noise adjustments, no crop. Link to comment
hansdans 0 Posted October 13, 2009 I like your "treatment" for the home- which will make even the homecomer to feel much easier:)BR Hannu Link to comment
David-Wisse 5 Posted October 14, 2009 Hi Hannu - Thanks! Home does need a little work doesn't it? Best, David Link to comment
jayanti 0 Posted October 14, 2009 I really like the composition and the mood of chaos around this 'home'. The treatment is very suitable. If Ihave to nit pick at all, I would perhaps like to see a little more depth in the picture, which was there in your original, and understandably lost during the processing; may be a bit selective burning would have done it. The title is sarcastic and very well suited. Best regards. Link to comment
David-Wisse 5 Posted October 14, 2009 Thanks Jayanti for your thoughtful comment. I'm beginning to like the original better myself, but it was enjoyable experimenting and testing the waters so to speak. David Link to comment
