Thank you so much Amal, for me this is the first pictures I did make from surfers, I have a lot of them, but it is not so easy to catch them, and the waves were amazing

It is a good action shot and I agree it is well composed. That said, I might have preferred it if you were a little closer to the action. There does seem to be too much foreground.

And David for you a little bit longer comment, I was on holiday in Portugal and by accident we did discover a beach full of surfers, beautifull waves, and a GREAT atmosphere on the westcoast of Algarve, there was also a photographer with aquipment you don't want to know, positioned all day I guess, to get the perfect shot, I was there just to swim myself in those waves, but I never go without camera, so I also did try to get the perfect (for me) shot, I am allready very happy to have this arch around him, and I decide to make this crop because the water in the foreground makes it even more dramatic, it is a question of a composition in my eyes, but we all have different point of vieuw, I also did put a closer one called 'Balancing on the waves nr. 2" because you can see even the creme protection on his face, so if you have time take a look if you want, thanks anyway for your nice comment I appreciate it very much and here for you the original and a bigger crop
