rbanfield 0 Posted October 14, 2009 You shot the dickens out of White Sands! I've been clicking thru these shots and personally I think they all rock. Your post production on the series is A+. So in the venacular of the 3 Amigos here's the woooo! wooooo! wooooo! and I'm going to throw in an " Attaboy " to boot...Lefty Link to comment
leo burkey 0 Posted October 15, 2009 After the sun has completely set, the high contrast light and colors gives way to quiet light and softer colors. It is truly a peaceful time of soft pastels and muted light and that is what I tried to capture and convey in this image. Link to comment
sketch_tbhotmail.com 11 Posted October 16, 2009 This is an exceptionally fine shot Leo. The shades of blue are breathtaking and the composition is quite nice. There's also a lot of great texture in the foreground that I'll bet would look unbelievable in a large print. Link to comment
herbstm 0 Posted October 16, 2009 ...and you did this extremely well. Starting from the foreground with the fine details of the sand riples to the reflections of the last light on the mountains in the background. Exceptional. Link to comment
stp 6 Posted October 16, 2009 It's nice to have an explanation as to what you were after and why you made the photograph, and I think you were admirably successful. I really like the light, smooth patterns of the foreground, and the wisps hanging down from the sky add interest to that portion of the photo. Very nicely done. Link to comment
philipklinger 0 Posted October 17, 2009 Very, very good one! Excellent use of the sand structures in the foreground. Light and the different tones of blue are fantastic. Well done! Link to comment
