pietje 0 Posted October 11, 2009 very interesting capture John, with a lot of tonus and character. No critique, but just wondering why you didn't cropp of (or cloned out) the wooden box? I'm always going back to him to search why he is there. Piet Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted October 11, 2009 Do not touch that box, it is a very nice element that does not distract. The rough wood with her torn jeans are a nice touch. The image is a beautiful portrait of this model/muse. The background complements her skin tone. Her expression is pensive and the pose relaxed. The hint at future, or past, undress works nicely as well. It is such a departure from the usual glamour image that it immediately attracted me. Link to comment
John Peri 1,029 Posted October 12, 2009 Thaks Mark, lazy or not, I tend to agree with you, maybe that is also why instinctively I left it in, however I understand that some may find it distracting ... in fact it was an abandoned building and that is what it looked like ... I think it all has an effect on the mood that a model portrays .. Link to comment
JPPhoto1664880217 5 Posted October 12, 2009 Everything works together to enhance the mood. The light is warm and soft, the colors tonal, and the facial expression "moody". I partciulalry like how the necklace draws the eye to the center of the image. My compliments to you both. JIm Phelps Link to comment
