gsphotoguy 3 Posted October 13, 2009 Hazel poses in a simple glamour image. Lighting was mostly from windows on her left and some bounce from the ceiling. I realize the background is rotated a bit but I framed this so her figure looked balanced. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted October 14, 2009 It is interesting that you mention the rotation. It does bother me. I really do think she would still look balanced if the verticals were vertical. What would your mother think? Shoes on the bed! Just teasing! I like it apart from the rotation. Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted October 14, 2009 David- I fixed it and uploaded the corrected image. It will take a little while for all the caches to clear. Mom is just concerned I'm going to get in trouble for photographing nudes. Shoes are the least of her worries:-) Mark Link to comment
John Peri 1,029 Posted October 15, 2009 Well, you know how I usually get across that one Mark, I photograph the mother and the daughter ....... :-) A charming picture, bravo .. I almost never object to chopping up things, in many of the greats you will find bits and pieces all over the place (the funniest one I saw recently in a Paris museum was half a dog in a photo by Patrick Demarchelier), but in this particular case, to include the phone in it's entirety would possibly reinforce the message .. like waiting for the call for example ...
