gsphotoguy 3 Posted October 9, 2009 This was made on a very overcast day. The soft light was very nice so we decided to work on the roof of the workshop studio. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted October 9, 2009 The photo is fine. It is also good to have understanding models. It doesn't look too warm up there. I would like to see more of the setting as it looks quite interesting. That is NOT to say I would like to see less of the model. Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted October 9, 2009 David- It was mid-60's F and cloudy. There was also an on and off drizzle that actually cut the session short. I was trying to play her skin off the rusty industrial equipment. The roof is otherwise quite uninteresting, especially on an overcast day. Christy was a gem to work with. She is very comfortable in front of the camera and has a very pleasent personality. Thank you for again taking the time to look at my work. Mark Link to comment
mikelgondra 0 Posted October 10, 2009 Hi, Mark, I was impacted by this image because I love this 100% nudes and, at the same time, suggesting more than showing. The woman is totally nude, except always needed shoes with 4" more to highlight their pretty long legs but the position highlighting her hips and shoulders is wonderful and also her face expression with a pose of untranquility. Well done, Mark. Of course, the atmosphere in b&w is 50% of photo impact; the success in full colour is, many times, unpredictable for the viewer. Congratulations. Ikusi arte - see you in basque language. Josemi Gondra. Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted October 10, 2009 Josemi, Thank you for the kind comments. The overcast day provided the worlds largest softbox and the metal of the air conditioning unit some fill. As for her height, she is 5' 5" so the heels do help. The pose does make her legs look longer. Mark Link to comment
