ray.koushik 0 Posted October 9, 2009 Very nice composition. I like it, although the crop at bottom it a tad too tight for me. compliments -koushik Link to comment

vetterhome1 0 Posted October 9, 2009 Wonderful view at people : a kind of projection at the wall. The light/shadow works well.I am not sure if I want to cut the left shadow. BR Joerg Link to comment
andrea-de-bonis 6 Posted October 9, 2009 thanks a lot for your attention. is not easy for me to shoot in the middle of thousend persons. people is cutted for two reasons: the first is that i wanted only a presence, the second is that there was a confused ocean. the shadow on the left, jorg... i dont know, maybe you are right. the risk is toomuch graphism without it? wieslawmamon 0 Posted October 11, 2009 drastic cropping indeed though I like the effect, the diagonal lamp shadow tries to gather all the people here together as even they're in a crowd they are busy with their jobs and don't seem to notice each other's presence. They look a bit like shipwrecked sailors desperately struggling to survive in the ocean. I'm not quite sure about the left side of the composition but don't think it is any destracting and I guess your cropping decision was quite effective here. Best regards. Link to comment

samrat 1 Posted October 18, 2009 Admirable composition...a definite learning point here...I'd never have thought of composing "half-people"...this photo reminds me of Cartier-Bresson's photo of the wall with many windows, lots of children and a man moving across (taken in Madrid in 1933).
