Not Here 93 Posted October 7, 2009 David... One of the best forest images I've seen in a long while. The separation and depth is amazing... Mike Link to comment
David-Wisse 5 Posted October 7, 2009 Thank you very much Michael That is one of the nicest comments I've received on a non-dog shot - (I'm trying to diversify!!). Best, David Link to comment

hoosier 0 Posted October 8, 2009 This scene is magical. With these wonderful old maples and their ideally contrasting background, you have captured an image that might be perfect. Link to comment
pfranklin 0 Posted October 8, 2009 David, Good eye, the background enhances these old trees and the inclusion of the groundcover adds color. I like it Warm regards, Pamela Link to comment

Christal1664882414 0 Posted October 12, 2009 For me, what ties the background to the trees is the fact that there is some grey/green on the trunk of the trees, which matches the grove of tree trunks. It ties the whole scene together so there isn't such a stark separation. Great DOF and good eye on this! (Do I see a dog behind one of those trees?) Sorry.....just joking about your comment above......bravo on trying to expand your repertoire! :-) Link to comment
David-Wisse 5 Posted October 12, 2009 Hi Crystal - and thanks for your visit and kind words. You had me going for a second there, since there were two dogs running around off camera at the time - and I thought one of them must have jumped into the picture after all! Best, David Link to comment
rekaras 0 Posted February 4, 2010 Great shot, wonderful composition. I would have commented on one of your dog pix but there were too many to chose from. Obviously you love the animal as do I and it shows. they certainly respond to your lens. thank you for your recent comment and keep up the good work. Best regards, rek. Link to comment
