Lovely shot Tanya...perhaps just a little too tightly cropped around the lips area...but your eyes are the window to the soul......perhaps a blue tinged to go with the heading...other then that a lovely portrait...

Nice shot, I like the Sepia, the highlights on the lip and the reflection in the eyes. It is as if she is there peering out of the photo at me. Very well done. Bravo.

for leaving comments. The tight crop is, indeed, intended as much as the fine lines of the skin. I feel that if it's a self-portrait, the physical reality should be as real as possibly.

Artur... Thanks for enjoying the expressions of my eyes. I try to convey as many moods as i possibly can through this ...window :O).

Mark! Thanks for sharing how the image feels to you..."peering out at you". The image has a life of its own, and i am pleased to hear it draws that much attention to you.

Have a pleasant day, gentlemen.

Very beautifully done, Tanya. I really like the honesty of this photo.

We've all felt like this, haven't we? And we'll all feel this way again.

for leaving comments. I love to hear from my long-time PN friends, and yes i am way overdue on my photography ventures and sharing and commenting with friends here.

Thanks everyone for still remembering me.

"There is a beauty in sadness" as long as it does not stay a long time. Very true.

Happy photo hunting and photo making my friends.

Warmly, Tanya

As before you have created a very expressive image with this unconventional composition - the crop on tour lip almost makes it come out through the screen.

You manage to make feeling blue very seductive! Everybody will want to "kiss it better"!
