abstract nudes Jackie in the Box

Jackie actually built this box for the Glamour101 Workshop Studio. I

couldn't wait to photograph her in it. The workshop usually uses a

ringlight but I decided to try more directional light.

Strange is the word that springs to mind... not that strange is a bad thing. I don't know Jackie but I am guessing her skin isn't as dark as it appears here. Interesting shot, albeit strange. Perhaps a view of Jackie looking out of the box would be good.

There is actually a photograph of almost this same pose with her turned around facing out. For obvious reasons I will not be posting it on photo.net.

 

On her skin tone, I will go back to the original film scan and work on levels some more. I might have been too hasty in posting this one.

 

I'm pleased you find it strange, that makes me quite happy. I've been trying to do work that could fall into that category, more form then figure.
