A Series I am working on .. Cont. .... a student .. .. sure, I'll do it she said .. can I take my champagne glass with me ?!
Classy... Not just this image, but many, many of your images are thus so. It just took this one to cause me to make that comment. Champagne, crystal (Waterford?), marble, candelabras, pearls, sculpture. This is a very candid photo. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful rendition of this young woman. The lighting has complimented her superbly. The centered-ness of your main subject is a little too much so, but given what has been presented - her posture, her figure, her attitude and the other items in the background of the image - I don't mind it at all.
Haha, no, Rosenthahl actually ... thank you for this comment Stephen, as for so many others too .. always dead on the subject with your ever perceptive eye. It's all about grace and beauty really, and how unassuming these can be. Is it not expressed in her demeanour here .. kudos to the model, I just record the moment .. I'm not opposed to center placing of the subject when this is offset by the differences on each side, but I more than understand that others may not always share in this idea. Thank you, I appreciate the criticism. Best wishes, John
