A friend who loves to pose. I think that the grain produced by the

Agfa 400 film I used really adds to the shot.

I really like this. The grain is nice. The bite of her lip and the latch of her necklace go together somehow. very nice.

Very nice high key effect. The grain goes well with this subject and her somewhat unconventional look.

Sexy image... I too love the grain -- it works well with her beautiful face... You did a nice job capturing her features... It makes me feel as if I would like to get to know her...

I've an unopened bottle of rodinal hiding in my wee darkroom myself. I've piles of T-max but I'm told it's not really suitable for rodinal. Thinking of Tri-X or Agfa but can't make my mind up.

Shoot the TriX @ 400 or the APX @ 250. Cook it in Rodinal @ 1+100 (come on measure it with a syringe now!) for 22 minutes at 68 degrees. 10 gentle but complete inversions the first 30 seconds, 1 gentle but complete inversion every 30 seconds till done. The Tri-X will have smaller grain, the APX is more tonal (more tonal then Tri-X!!!). That bottle of Rodinal thats sitting around has great keeping properties...I've used 3 year Rodinal with no problems many times. And finally if you like this look you should see what Rodinal and APX 400 in 120 is like!

I'm ordering some film and stuff soon, so I'll get some tri-X for the rodinal. Glad to hear it keeps well. Maybe one day I'll get round to 120.
