I like this very much, Bulent. I like the fact that though this seems more or less a formal portrait she appears relaxed and at ease and there is just the hint of a smile in her eyes.. The DOF is perfect and both background and foreground add interesting, natural, but not distracting detail.

on photographing such an attractive intelligent face, indeed a fine portrait, for all the reasons Jack affirms.

 

absolutely. let me just add that of all the good things in this portrait it's the expression most of all that turns it into a very good portrait. Also the hands and the way they are positioned do wonders in this composition.
