Very nice composition - the diagonals created by the rebarb make this candid really nice IMO - take care!

I rated your photo average a 4 for quality and 5 for it being interesting.

I find the photo interesting, but would comment a bit on the quality.

As a suggestion I would advise the use of a tripod to help with the clarity and detail. Even a minute movment can blur a good photo.

I would also suggest more lighting in the face area. Either finding a better angle to shoot, use flash, attention to camera settings, or edit that area with using photo shop, would impove the detail. I would suggest next time iif your camera has it, to set your camera to braket shooting. This way you would get 3 exposers of the same shot at one time.

And since there isn't much going on to left side of the photo (A large area with little interest) I would suggest a tighter crop around the main focus of the man working.

Besides the fact that I like the human interest of the shot, I feel that with a little work your photo would be even better.

Sorry if this sounds out of place or harsh. I find it very hard to give feedback in writing. Sometime what I want to say is difficult to write. Hope I havn't offended you in any way.

Offend! You, my friend, have pleased me greatly with your well-reasoned critique... so rare unfortunately on PN... this is taken at full 504mm zoom of my fixed-lens camera and is already cropped significantly... i was intrigued by the configuration and of course the natural light illuminating him

Rajat, I'm not coming out in the same place as some of the other reviews. I like the larger crop, because the project is as much an important part of the image as the worker. Also, for me bringing up the light on the face is not important, because it's about the worker and his work, not the man as an individual. I also consider it together with the series, so it has greater context. For me, aesthetics relates to a photographer's intentions, not necessarily what I would do. So I say nicely done. David

The lines, composition, and social commentary work well here.  You have a good eye.  Remember, photos are not taken; they are made.  This is sound philosophy of Ansel Adams.  Nice image.
