This is one of your more effective compositions. The arms form triangles joined at the shoulder, so that interest is returned to the face. The broad, diffuse lighting and the warm colors show your model to advantage, the touch of green in the background contrasts effectively with the warm skin tones and points up the green in your model's eyes. The picture frame suggests natural environment in a non-distracting way and agrees with your model's black garment. The white bedspread is a highlight right at the bottom, and you do need that black border to maintain unity in your picture.

The gaze is direct and mildly interested, but not otherwise particularly evocative.
