sallydouglas 0 Posted September 30, 2009 Why would want to make such a magnificent creature look ugly like that?... Link to comment
vikingman 0 Posted October 1, 2009 Hi Birte. Absolutely first rate, i love all your wildlife pictures. Very well done, is communicates something of the raw power of this beast. Not sure if the previous comment was serious or not but I don't think the photographers job is to try and make animals 'beautiful'. Ugliness or whatever is up to the individual viewer. The ugliness in this world is pretty well exclusively man-made. This is nature captured in all its rawness, and that to me, is beautiful! Regards, erik Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted October 2, 2009 Birte, the white tiger is springing out from black background. Excellent shot. Link to comment
sallydouglas 0 Posted October 2, 2009 Erik... I read your critique, and I see your point clearly... It was a comment very well made without being insulting, unlike my own comment... I think I had a moment of complete and utter ignorance... Thank you for pointing this out to me... Birte... I apologise for my ignorant critique and take it back... I still cannot say that I like the image of the tiger itself, but I do admire your photographic ability... This is in itself an extremely unique photograph and concept, and I applaud your creativity and skill... I am sorry that I belittled it... One day I hope to be as good as you are... Link to comment
