maurocarli 0 Posted October 2, 2009 Nice capture Len, perfect in all its aspects. Colours play an important role in this photo: the big yellow eyes were the first place my eye was immediatly attracted to; the lovely green of the background is the perfect setting for emphasizing the beauty of a creature like this. LenMarriott 9 Posted October 5, 2009 One has to be CLOSE to fully appreciate the beauty of these birds of prey and the eyes certainly are the focal point. (pun intended) Look at the talons also. Wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of those! Also, they make NO sound when they fly. Makes it almost impossible for their prey to take note of their approach..............until it's too late. Thanks for your interest. Best, LM. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted October 5, 2009 Good to hear from you. Film is what I shoot, except for the 50% of my recent posts that I've taken with my wife's P&S Canon A540. :-) I have an older Minolta Dimage Scan Dual ll dedicated film scanner that, thanks to my recent aquisition of Vuescan, is now a pleasure to use & produces all the quality necessary for me to make decent prints up to 12"x18" from 35mm negs. If I need bigger, I still have my Bronica SQ Ai system and an old Rolleiflex T. I've done 30 x 40's effortlessly with the 'T'. Thanks for your comment. Don't be a stranger. Best, LM. Link to comment
