mauroni 0 Posted September 28, 2009 This old sad man is spending his time leaning against a small brich fence outside an old people's home, a hospice. The scene takes place in a sunny April's Sunday in the late morning. The man was alone. Thanks for your comments and ratings Mauro Link to comment

smigliori 0 Posted September 29, 2009 Senectus ipsa morbus..... I believe that this picture, melancholy apart, reveals the great dignity that this man has ... perfectly and elegantly dressed as if was a special occasion ... Bravo Mauro. Stefano. Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted September 29, 2009 Mauro... Elegance is not a word usually used for a man, especially an elderly one; but this aging gentleman is elegant. You've captured him well..... excellent shot... Mike Link to comment
mauroni 0 Posted September 29, 2009 Yes the old age its a illness itself. Stefano and Michael: you hit the point that is really important to me: this gentleman is intensely elegant. More: he is ready, ready for anybody or anything that could arrive. He look like a person that don't want to be caught unprepared and the sadness I read on his face is strongly connected to his own awareness of what he is going to face. He reminds me the elegance of a strong calm glorious ancient hero. Link to comment
