David-Wisse 5 Posted September 27, 2009 Well, if your truck won't start you've got plenty of Lab power to pull you home . . . Nice shot Scott. Link to comment
cromwell1664877587 0 Posted September 27, 2009 Thanks, David. Yeah, I thought about photoshopping in a harness from Amber to the bumper in this shot. Link to comment
gatorpan 1 Posted September 27, 2009 I like the conception. That is what arracted me... but the front dog leads your eye out of the photo... and the second dog sends it another way... Then the car itself is head on. Wide angle is great... cropping I think it could be tighter on the right... too bad the dog didn't look to you / the lens..after all the car does. The weather will be hard to duplicate.. I would love to see you try this again. Rafi Link to comment
cromwell1664877587 0 Posted September 27, 2009 Thanks for your critique, Rafi. The three directions is what I liked about this shot. I think I might agree about cropping a little off the right. I'll try it after I get some sleep. I do plan on reshooting at this spot next time I'm there, since I'm really not happy with anything I ended up with. Probably will be a couple of months. cbabbitt 0 Posted September 29, 2009 I love this shot, Scott. I wouldn't crop the right side and I am not the least concerned about the front pooch leading me out of the frame. I think it works pretty well just as it is. Link to comment
cromwell1664877587 0 Posted September 29, 2009 Thanks Diane and Chuck. If I were to crop the right, it would be just enough to make the truck be in the exact middle, which I almost did before posting. I'm glad you agree with me about Winston looking to the right. I have the exact shot with him looking at me and it went straight to the trash folder. Btw, this is the truck I used 25 years ago when I learned how to drive. Nothing like starting out when you're 13 with a stick and no power steering or brakes. I think it's been sitting in that same spot for 23 years. Link to comment
jrickert 2 Posted August 8, 2011 I like this one, because it is a very subtle fish-eye effect. So cute. Link to comment
