nature autumn's coming

This afternoon after a shower and some sun this two guys announced that the summer

has definitely gone. Unfortunately.

The foreground muchrooms are beautifully detailed and placed in a wonderful scene.

Dear friends, thank-you all for the nice words. I realize I have to explain that the scene is "as is". This means that the mushrooms are in the very point were they grew up and the trees, the mountains and the clouds as well. I used a 12mm superwideangle at F/32 to have the maximum possible DOF. In post production I performed a light adjustment of definition, a very light extraction of details from shadows and the adjustment of the mid contrast. Nothing else.

Bella ed originale questa foto! Mi piace l'alterazione delle proporzioni introdotta dalla lente super wide che hai usato! La composizione è molto ben studiata e curata.

Ho notato una notevole sfocatura e/o distorsione delle chiome degli alberi, nella parte alta del fotogramma: è introdotta dalla lente o era una giornata molto ventosa?

La sfocatura di cui parli la noto solo ora su tua indicazione. No, non mi pare che sabato fosse un pomeriggio particolarmente ventoso, né mi pare abbia senso attribuire l'effetto alla lente giacché risultano a fuoco piani ancora più arretrati, come montagne e nuvole.

Farò come il tenente colombo: chiederò a mia moglie se lei si ricorda che ci fosse vento! :-)

Mah! Saro' un po' troppo poco sofistiacato: a me piace e basta!...Ciaomau!

Sarà come dici tu... ma dopo una faticosa e troppo calda estate non aspetto altro che la dolce luce autunnale (possibilmente fra i boschi, nel pomeriggio). Bellissima la foto. La sfocatura in alto potrebbe essere una sorta di aberrazione (periferica) della lente (montagne e nuvole sono più lontane, ma sono meno eccentriche)? Saluti, Antonio

Ho chiesto a mia moglie e anche lei si ricorda che c'era calma di vento. Ciò detto l'ipotesi aberrazione è terribile giacché il 12-24 nikkor ancorché non di fascia altissima è considerato un obiettivo di fascia medio-alta e sarebbe seccante se questa fosse la sua qualità. Forse potrebbe essere che mi sono mosso? O forse una sola folata di vento...

 

Antonio, se tu che vivi in Abruzzo desideri l'autunno chi sono io per desiderare l'estate infinita? :-)

I love the perspective of this picture with the mushrooms large in the forground...the sky is so beautiful, full of promise for a beautiful Autumn (my favorite time of year)! Great capture!
