Your photography is an inspiration to me! I am new to this forum and have just recently taken up digital photography as my main hobby in retirement. So much to learn - but very pleased to know what results are possible, particularly since you took these images with the same camera body I have. Thanks for sharing!

The photograph is fantastic, it look more like a painting than a photograph. The colors are so rich, its amazing....

I Like the atmosphere in this shot and overall exposure is pretty good, although i think slightly less would be better. composition is a bit off but cropped it would make a great print if you have critical sharpness, to much sky but still a Good Picture..... !

Beautiful images, but I think there should be a clear notice on every picture that has been Photoshopped and ones that are not edited in any way. It's only fair.

Aside from that, all these images are wonderful.

Yes it is probably Photoshopped. Yes it is probably HDR and tonemapped. Yes the impression is surreal. But it is a stunning picture with amazing depth and sharpess. Well done.

Apart from the artist merit of the images of which I'm a great fan they are just so interesting ,I can look at each one for ages they picture a life so different to my world of cars, trains, high rise buildings and the trappings of so called western civilisation .I just admire your work greatly

What I love about photo.net is that it shows the wonderful work of many photographers and photo artist from all over the world.  I thought I would love to travel to a place like this just to get a shot for my collection.  Then I Google mapped "South Borneo Kalimantan" and found it in the middle of a jungle in a very sparsely populated country.  No major cities of any kind.  So this makes this image even more powerful to me.  It tells of the people and the culture.  I think the photographer captured perfectly a hard working people who survive by starting early and I suspect work late.   However, I am not sure where there market is.  But water is a large part of there lives.  Thank you not only for the beautiful photo but a brief visit to this part of the world.  Maybe I can visit for my own shot one day.  "Another items on my bucket list".  www.mikeadkinsphotography.com
