it is the Rana's Balcony or King's balcony with no religious significance... where he would sit or stand holding Durbar (holding court)... those in attendance occupied the courtyard below... what you see above was added to the courtyard (mid 19th century) actually 200 years after it was built... Belgian glass, enamel, glass inlay wotk... and Bobby, thank you for your interest and support
