billsymmons 0 Posted September 22, 2009 I really like the light and composition you have captured here. I don't know what was behind the chair but a little bit more room might "ground" the image a little more. Good work again. All my best, Bill Link to comment
Tom Wiggins Photography 0 Posted September 22, 2009 Gail: I really like this image. The glow on the sun on the window, is simply great. Excellent PS work. Tom Link to comment

michaellinder 16,611 Posted September 24, 2009 AMAZING color treatment. The colors are so vivid as to be almost blinding. Excellent capture of reflections in the window. (What a shame that there are bars on the window. That's too much of a reminder of how intense our national paranoia is.) My compliments on some very fine work (10/10 if I could), michael Link to comment
dabar 0 Posted September 24, 2009 Very nicely seen/conceived Gail. This image certainly does hold-the-eye with its great use of color and composition. Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted September 24, 2009 Thank you all very much for your very kind critiques....I'll try to sum up some answers....getting so busy with the move that time is just not allowing me to do all that I'd like.....I could have used more room at the bottom of the photo, but then again another alternative would be to centre in on the window itself.....it would have been perhaps better?? The sun was very bright by this time of the day....full on the back of the property, lending it to be very brilliant through the windows. I love pictures of windows...I have quite a few more to do, but may have to do them a bit later in October. You've all been so kind to comment. I will try in any spare time to come visit your portfolios and it actually should be very relaxing for me while in the middle of such 'chaos'....This wonderful new hobby has allowed me a whole new 'area' of packing to do....but this is the part I like. Everyone take care, and know that I do appreciate each and everyone who visits my photos. Will try to get on each day even if to do some rating.....best regards to you all.....Gail Link to comment

t37traveler 0 Posted September 26, 2009 Gail - I like the color scheme and the repetition of the rectangular shape throughout the work. What a gret poster or greeting card this would make. Very well done! For me, the yellow glow in the window anchors the piece (gives it a real focal point) and prevents the eye from racing all over the various rectangular patterns. Link to comment
