caz 1 Posted September 22, 2009 I was attracted to this image by the warmth of light and the movement - excellent. I would have however preferred to see more space to the right of the bird and less space to the left - for a stronger composition. Rgds Carole Link to comment
life-in-perspective 0 Posted September 22, 2009 Great capture Sekhar and there is a tension that is expressed in the shot. Very good work. Regards and Happy Puja. Link to comment
raymondborg 0 Posted September 22, 2009 Excellent capture and great warm lighting. Some more space in front of the bird and less behind would be much stronger. Congrats. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted September 24, 2009 I am not familiar of the species name I believe it to be part of the puddle ducks and maybe a gadwal hen... the detail on the head is why I think it is part of the gadwal family species... Maybe you can advise... I was taken by th image as I looked at the primary wing feathers on the fore most win there are three missing.. Strange to see that as see the lift required from water flight is hard... It could be they are thrust forward... I like the tone of the image the detail of the duck and the strengry of the duck's appearance as it lifts off.. I think it is suffice to say great shot... I do like things like this...
