Stanislav, for some reason i seldom visit photo.net anymore. so is especially nice for me when i do to see more of your work. this as is most of your work i have to think on. your focal point, i like very much, the length of the stem am not sure about but on saying that i realize it is important to the structure of your image. the positioning of the flower in the frame i find very attractive. as you probably already realize i am a great fan of softness, especially in floral work. here in your image it works well, except for the top of the stem, think would like to see a bit more definition there as it leaves to much for the imagination, but then perhaps that is how you meant it to be. all and all, a lovely image. you seem to really enjoy working with the daises. all the best to you.......roger

Roger- good to read from you, I already missed yor comments! You make me think about the images, too, and that is great. I guess from time to time one just needs to take a break and do something else. Seems like you are in such a stage at the moment.

I find the top of the stem just below the petals to be the hardest part of a daisy because it is nearly always too dark and out of focus if the focal point is placed on the petals.

I love to work with daisies because they grow right in front of my door and I can spend all of my free time shooting instead of driving somewhere. And they bloom nearly all year long. The second place belongs to cherries closely followed by crocuses. :-))
