Beautiful work! I would love to learn how you created this image, and would appreciate any reading references re this. Thanks for your comment on the bird picture - I agree that the composition would be stronger per your suggestions. Best wishes - Sekhar

Sekhar,

Thanks for your comment on this photo. I am trying to explain step by step how I achieved this effect. I use photoshop softwear for my editing.

1. After adjusting a little the colour level, I have dublicated the layer.

2. On the upper copy go to filter menu, then blur and radial blur.

3. A small window will pop up showing you two options; Spin blur or zoom blur. I this photo, I chosen the zomm blur.

At this stage you will have two layers perfectly aligned on each other. The top one with the blur effect and the original underneath.

Use the earaser tool with low opacity, start erasing the centre part of the top (blured) layer. However the lower layer will show up to provide a sharp stop. If you fell necessary, also reduce a little the opacity of the top layer for a better result.

Hope you find this information useful and I would be more than happy if you try it and be so kind to share the result with me. Good luck.

Hi Raymond, this is a good photo with a dynamic post processing effect. It would only look better if you had shot this image at dusk, exactly before sunset, when the sky would be purple. In my honest opinion this would make a much better image and I would rate it 7/7 for aesthetics, instead of six. Still, very good work. Well done.

Beautiful image; I love the lighting effect...is gives the feeling of warmth and as if the church is calling people in to hear its message! Very well seen and done. Lovely! Thank you for sharing. :)
