Cross country meet

I got tired of taking action shot after action shot, and thought I'd try something that

showed more of the actual ACTION. I figured the planted feet would be in focus, and

the legs would be blurred, but what surprised me was to see how the slow shutter

speed resulted in apparently curved legs (look at the left of the image).

Absolute beautiful long exposure shot - You took a wide DOF also. In addition the colors are comming together fine! Congratulations! 1/30 of a sec? or how much? Thanx Axel

Thank you! I used a 24-105 lens, at 105 mm; 1/40th of a second at f/18.

Nice effect and the colors work well together and tend to enhance the motion.
