Mounted the leaf (from a vine) on a frame and then set it up with the sun as backlight. Pity about the softening in the corners. I need a better tele.

Interesting composition! I thought of a butterfly when I first saw this image. I knew it was a leaf, but I immediately thought of a winged being shortly after. It's the thought provoking nature of this image that I like most. If I were to be technical, my opinion wouldn't be as pleasant, I suppose (no offense). Otherwise, nice shot!
