This is an eye-catching composed shot, I like the look of the trees that each of them has slightly different shade. The foreground seems to be overexposed, I would like to see more details of the leaves. To sum up, good framing could help close the composition, especially white part in left top corner.

Przemku! Bardzo oryginalne spojrzenie. Monumentalność drzew w długiej perspektywie, opadające pojedyńcze liście, szczegóły źdźbeł traw zanurzone we mgle i do tego cudowne kolory. Szczere gratulacje!

I like this image. Photografic art at it's very best.

I guess that it is on purpose that the highlights burns out !

I keep waiting and waiting for someone to take the upper hand here and critique this week, and no one will. I feel forced once again to speak first. It's a lovely photograph, but not nearly as nice as a couple of others taken at the same place which you have in your portfolio. Those are magnificent. Everyone should look at Przemyslaw's work -- they are just great.

I do find a problem with this photograph, however. The whole picture appears to be tilted slightly causing the tree trunks to slant. I like the diagonal composition, but the slanted image is giving me trouble. I straightened it and it improves the picture a lot. i just don't know how to bring it up here from my computer. It needs only a couple of degrees tilt to bring it into (in my view), a much more pleasant scene.

I like this picture very much. I disagree w/Chris about the light because one of the things I like is the dark in the foreground and then it gets lighter and lighter until totally light at the end; the juxtaposition between light and dark, I believe, is very well done. And then to balance the whole between light and dark, you have the bright colors on the ground in between the two. Good job!

The light is great, unfortunately, the composition is not. I leave the photo pronto by going from right to left to the light area in the back, not looking at the image very long, one or two seconds at the solo leaves that look pasted on the trees. If I crop to the sixth tree, counting from closest back, I go square and then do not exit the photo quickly at all, but stay and notice a lot of the smaller intricacies that I never noticed before cropping. I also stay in longer with the balance now working in my favor. The light even looks more special in the backlit grasses between the trees, and the tree trunks seem to have more detail in the bark. Try it, hold your hand there and notice you look at the image for a longer amount of time, even if it is only for a couple of seconds (my premise for judging if improvement has happened)!

I disagree with Bill about the need to tilt the photo. The front-most tree is perfectly straight and sets the frame of reference for the rest. I think the other trees are just wider at the bottom and slant to the right as they narrow. My only problem with the image is I wish there were more definition in the foreground so as to enhance the contrast between the lower right and upper left in both detail and light. I feel the whole thing is a little washed out right now, which works better the farther back into the image you look. I'm nitpicking though. Overall, I really like this image and find it very compelling!

It's a very interesting pattern piece. But, not his most interesting piece in his portfolio. Being the eye always tends to go to the brightest spot, I keep settling on the left side. It's so bright it doesn't let the viewer roam the frame. Overall, I like the fade effect. But the left side is just too white for the scene

The ascending or descending, depending on your potion, tonal rang of the trees is very artful and not to mention eye catching. The light is most moving in this image. I am now ready for the Autumn to begin full force. Thanks for the Image I am enjoying the feel.

A very moody photograph, well cropped. I have to agree w/ some of the other critiques in that while I love the gradation from dark to light, I find the ending white a little too strong. I would like to see a smoother gradation from the first tree to the last one, with some gray tone being brought in. Over-all a beauitful image and one you should be very proud of.

I love the depth of the leaf colors and the 'fairytale' feel to the shot, however, and this could be my monitor, I wish there was more dimension to the trees. They appear very flat to me....

I also disagree with Bill about the tilt. This is a beautiful image that creates a mood. My only observation is the bright white area on the left side. It really distracts my eye. I would crop it off. Congrats.
