This is a really good shot Dick! The composition seems more balanced than #1 and the plants in the foreground give a better sense of depth. The fog adds an atmosphere that just puts it over the top!

Thank you all for the very nice comments! I was running late for work or I would have stayed for a few more minutes. As the sun rose, the scene and the light continued to change. When I first stopped to look at this spot, I wasn't planning to take any photos. But when I saw what the fog and the rising sun were doing to the scene, I walked down a muddy path, got my good shoes dirty and ended up with a few decent images...ahh the thrills of photography!

Ahh Dick, my type of landscape. Love the feeling of remotenes & isolation of your image with an added sense of mystery provided by the fog shrouded background.I expect you also enjoyed the absolute quiteness of the early morning.Best Regards-Ross
