How nice to find them between two bodies of water at the perfect time of day. You got lucky, or you waited a long time to get the shot. Very nice.

Hi, Linda, love the subtle light, exquisite composition, and you have caught the fascinating atmosphere, But the system don't let me rate 7/7 on it, maybe late... Best regards

Ruud, thank you for your kind comment.

Pierre, thank you, it's good to hear from you. I will have to get over to see what you have been doing lately.

Patsy, thank you, I am glad to hear that you like it.

Gallego,good to hear from you.

Shawn, I was lucky as is usually the way. This was taken on a perfect fall day, the sun was very low and the light was amazing. I think these geese were planning their flight path back down south. As soon as they noticed me they started to move away.

Dr. Didi, thanks. It is nice to hear from you.

Richard, I really like to hear what you and others think about my images. Of course everyone likes to get sevens, but I appreciate comments, good or bad, more.

David, thank you. Good to hear from you.

Mark, the lake was unusally smooth on this day. Thanks.

Jim, there is no end to the beautiful scenery in BC. I will never get over it. Thanks.

Thank you all for stopping and commenting. I appreciate your encouragement.

Warm regards,

Linda

They're each doing their own things, some socializing, some playing, some just looking on, yet you're showing a society. I love the composition and crop. Lovely

It's Great.I do love it.I'd like to crop the stones in the bottom of the photo and instead, have more from the mountains in the background(just IMO).Anyhow, it's a very great photo. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, glad you like it. I actually have a second shot where I did crop out the beach. I couldn't decide which one I liked better. I appreciate hearing your thoughts. Best wishes.
