davidmccracken 2 Posted September 13, 2009 I do love the way this model connects with the camera. I hope you do too. Feedback appreciated Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted September 13, 2009 She is a terrific, expressive model. I guess the little girl never really leaves the woman as in this fun photograph. The way her hair falls exposes her ear in an interesting way, it is almost pixie like. Nicely done, both of you. Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted September 13, 2009 ...you again, playing your favorite game with young sensual ladies... Provoking, fun, with an eclectic framing as well. I liiiike it!! Link to comment
szattler 0 Posted September 13, 2009 Beautiful, like most, most from it you are doing. Best regards Ed Link to comment
vancouverphotographer 1 Posted September 13, 2009 Unusual but interesting pose, good balance in the frame with the stuff animal and it is great eye contact. She looks like a pixie as mentioned above but would I be right in guessing she's actually older than she looks? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 13, 2009 And it's about time, too. He's in excellent company, I might add. I agree with the pixie look comment. More interesting to me is that the ear is almost a horizontal echo of the shape of her eyes. The position of the pose makes visual sense to me as well, because if you flip the image vertically, it doesn't work at all. If you discard the phallic symbolism (but who would want to?), she has a child like quality to her. I'm sure you've heard this from me before, but if I could do colour work like this, I might be tempted to do more of it. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted September 17, 2009 Mark, Your comment means a lot to me. Thanks! She is a fantastic model. I can't tell you how fantastic. I am not sure I get the 'pixie' think or not but it does seem to be something that many agree with. Carlos, I am not sure if I deserve your comment. She is lovely and young but I am not so sure about the game. Thanks for stopping by. Eduard, The girl is the star. I was just lucky enough to photograph her. Thank you. Dale, I can't answer you about her age as you never told me how old you thought she was. That said, she is old enough. Thanks! Jim, Woolfie has never really been away although I must admit, it has been a while since I photographed him. Your comment about the eyes and ear is a very interesting one. It seems you study my photos more than I do. Certainly I didn't flip it but I knew was the way it was meant to be shown. As for your comment about colour. I really don't know, but I will say, I do like this one. Thanks a lot everyone. Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted September 19, 2009 A misunderstood? perhaps, who knows. When I say "your favorite game" I mean what the following sentence of my previous comment is trying to point. The provoking sensuality of your models captured from a clever point of view, your unmistakable sense of humor based on the sexy attitude of the girls -or the opposite, as you prefer- and the care you put on the aesthetics and funny accessory details as woolfie, for example. Isn't the intelligent humor one of the most remarkable details of your whole work? Aren't you playing a game of joy with your camera? Well, then forgive my mistake. ;-) Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted September 20, 2009 There is / are no mistakes but there are misunderstandings. I like to have fun. I like to play. I like to amuse. I like to do these with my camera. It is great to know people like you take time to look at my work and comment on it. It is this that makes it all worth the effort... not that it is an effort you understand. Thanks for getting back to me. Link to comment
