Exceptionally creative work Gail! You have illustrated that hidden world that sometimes lurks within the mind of a child; and occasionally slips into adult dreams and fantasy.

The colors and complex composition suite the mood very well. Wonderfully imaginative.

This is much more that a fine piece of photo art Gail. Very intense and chaotic but also very gentle and beautiful in this elegant post treatment full of feelings and light and colours. Take good care my dear friend and all the best to you and your family from Jannica

I have to say at first glance I thought one image and then more closely reviewing another image, what a great effect... I am impressed..

Well lets catch up , yes I am packing as I will be heading back to USA soon... On the comment regarding the portrait now that you say it yes you are right , I will crop and upload as soon as I can i do see your point I missed it I guess to close to the work, my gf is the model for the eyes and various creations like please wait while I put on my face.. and the cerborn on river stix the fountain heads and the latest shots that use the clone and the angry eye are the eyes from the shot you commented on. Al least she allows me to use her features to do my crazy designs.. haha on the clone destruction it was more of 3D model work and fractals makes it a bit of job then overlays and layers to make the final..

On the Crown of Irian I loved the colors and the style...

Hope you are well and that your able to post some more new and fantastic creations.. MJ

Wow! This is a true artistic creation. At first it's tempting to analyse the image and the pieces, but after that it can be looked at as a whole piece of art. Viewed that way it holds together as a fantastic creation. I love the composition, the colours and the mystery in the concept.

In short this is really, really good. You are growing with each image. Keep it up, who knows what creations are still inside the talent and imagination you have.

Great work Gail

My sincere compliments, Bill

Thankyou so much for your lovley words of critique; I truly appreicate when you comment and always learn from your wisdom. I truly getting tired of packing. I haven't even gotten to my dig. photog little 'corner' ........I shall be glad when it's all done.....and I lay my head down on my pillow the first nite.........I miss working on my photos so much. You take care also, and keep in touch....many thanks again for your visit....sincerely, Gail

Thanks so much for 'catching me up'..............you lead such a busy life, these days at least. I appreciate also you explaining your 'process'....how you arrive at these marvelous creations. They always help me a bit in my 'thought process'.

Many thanks also for your comments on this image. It was born out of 'exhaustion and frustration'.....if you look real hard, 'I'm lost in the layers'..........my mind has felt 'crammed with information' in this move (covering all the bases re address changes etc, setting up new Email Provider etc...and my system needs a good 'swipe'. I'm attempting to get all my files backed up and catalogued. But there are times when I lie in the 'quiet hours' and my mind seems consumed with too many thoughts.........that is where the dragon/demons come in.

I've never been one that deals well with being 'in between homes'.....saying goodbye to this one.....where we enjoyed our 'pup' Hayley' and I had such fun with her.....had a good cry the other day when I saw a 'bichon' just like her.....all happy smiles......had a strange feeling I was 'leaving her behind'....although I know better...she will always be in my 'heart'.

And the 'body' aches a bit more than it used to. I can't lift the same amount of weight anymore and find it frustrating as well as a 'nuscience' in the wee hrs..keeps me awake...so if the pain gets too bad, I just pull out one of my Photo Mags and try to learn something. I have one where a fellow lives in your city....has some lovely work. Will try to let you know which mag it is......tnks MJ....always appreciate your comments, help, and concern........hope your move goes smoothly.....keep in touch, Gail

Your enthusiasium for this image is so refreshing at this moment Bill....I'm a bit overwhelmed with the amount of 'baggage' we collect at each home...and I'm terrible at 'ditching' stuff...anything I can turn into something 'creative'....I tend to 'hord'.....

So when everything gets to be a bit 'much' I attempt to try a new photo. This one has me within the layers..........'feeling totally consumed'.........but it will soon be over. The days are passing quickly. And I am moving more 'slowly'.........ha!.........'gravity has a hold on me'.........

So you see, your comments came at a very good time.....many thanks, you've been such a good support....so glad we 'crossed paths'....talk soon, Gail

I came back and did this image because I needed a break....but also because you said you 'missed me and my photos'..........that was so kind of you. Glad you liked this one Ed........trying something different while I still have time. Moving in a few weeks and my computer will be 'down' for a few days, or more.....(not looking forward to that)...I am still in 'this' home ........but the more I pack, the less it feels like 'home'..we have some very nice people moving in, so I know they will take very good care of it.....

You are right...these images are where the imagination and the 'stories' can be endless.....thankyou so much for your encouragement...I appreciate it more than you can know....sincerely, Gail

Hi Gail- Great job on this one. It has that feeling of disconnect that you reflect in the title. Very cool. All my best-Jim

A dream out of ancient European mythology! Unless I am hallucinating badly (which is possible these days), I see a three-headed dragon. It is blocking a passageway, which only the inventive, the bold, the brave, and the strongest of heart can reach.

At first, I felt that the colors were a bit oversaturated. But, this is my third look, and I don't feel that way now. The colors go hand-in-hand with the dreamlike character of the photograph.

Brilliant work!!
