""Splashed with Spring"

Taken last year in July along Bishop Creek, I re-processed with the original colors in

mind. The open shade with reflected light from the canyon gave the scene a cyan hue,

which I originally corrected. I, however, looked again at the RAW file and decided to

bring back some of that light. Please consider the Larger version before making any

assessments. Thanks for your time!!!

Fabulous. The myriad of colours in the flowers is wonderful. The turquoise of the water is striking. Just delightful.

Man I could go for some refreshing views like that right about now! I guess fall and winter should be a nice reprieve from summer anyways.

Thanks Chris and Floris. Fall will bring cooler days and more clouds. I hate the cloudless days of summer here in Bakersfield that last forever it seems. I look forward to another Spring here, full of green and wildflowers. By the time May rolls around, it is once again bone dry!
