dogs in landscapes First Snow Fever

It's as much about the landscape as it is about the dog so I decided to

post it in the landscape category.

 

This is our Great Pyranees, Deva in 2003. Clearing skies and a

temporarily warm day that was melting the previous days first snow of

the season. Sun mixed with fog, beautiful scenery and a happy dog.

What more can you ask for?

I thought it was a (lost) polar bear from the thumbnail. Either way - I love this, and obviously the chance of you coming out alive is much greater!

Kenny; Deva was only a puppy in this shot but she has grown up to be almost the size of a small polar bear! She's definitely much friendlier though :-)

Beautiful. I was wondering why there was a polar bear high in the mountains when I saw the thumbnail. He does look like one happy dog!

Nah! It's a polar bear. Dog or polar bear, great shot!. Lucky puppy too.
