ldavidson 4 Posted September 16, 2009 It was good to hear from you today. You do impressive and very skillfull Photoshop work. I think that Photoshop is an artist's tool, without the artist's vision and creativity it is not worth much. I am impressed that you can take a photo of a piece of furniture and turn it into an amazing piece of art. This is wonderful, I love it. The wood grains are gorgeous. All the best, Linda Link to comment
dgv 1 Posted September 16, 2009 You know Pierre, is not every day that one comes across such a passionate individual...with a lot of know how and the application of it... Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted September 17, 2009 You describe this as having evolved from a piece of furniture. I will not dispute a simple matter of fact. But the photograph's real essence is that of is a labyrinth, one for the creative spirit to explore without limits. Your creativity fashioned this image, but it also serves as a creative exercise for us. We can lose ourselves in it, not seeing a beginning or an end. This is amazing work, my friend. It is wonderful to see a new abstract from the Master! michael Link to comment

lizweisiger 0 Posted September 18, 2009 Fascinating, Pierre. I'm glad you showed the original. This one is neat because I can see the veins of the wood clearly. Wonderful work, and a pleasure to study. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted September 19, 2009 Round serving tables such as this in the USA are commonly called "A Lazy Susan". Can we name your image "Lazy Pierre" or would that not be appropriate? I like the effect you came up with, but I would love it even more as a round table in my living room. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 261 Posted September 19, 2009 Hey Shawn, the extraterrestrial space ship looks like table to you?! Click on the link below and see for yourself! PDE Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted September 19, 2009 Hmmm, I guess I don't want this in my living room after-all. You are quite talented in the optical and digital world, Pierre. Link to comment
